Just like in the past years the TTZH exhibited again this year at the Annual Meeting of German Tribology Society GfT in Goettingen from 24 till 26 September 2007. Mrs. Ulrike Quinn, the hostess of the stand, supplied the visitors with technical information regarding tribology products recommended by the TTZH, including testing equipment, precision balls for science and industry, pumps, tubing, levitator bearing kits, etc.

A technical presentation at the session “Tests, measurements, control” was given by Dr. Alexander Minewitsch. It focused on the problems of estimation friction coefficient and wear rate in reciprocating tests, scratch-adhesion, scratch-hardness, nanohardness and modulus of elasticity of thin PVD coatings.
